Yes, actually twice...once on a plane coming back from Hawaii in 1997, he was with Mayte in first class, he didn't speak just acknowledged me when I complimented him on the concert he put on the previous night...and secondly at the Rainbow Children Celebration at Paisley Park in 2001 with Kevin Smith. We got to talk with him for about 3 hours or so, if any video or pictures are released, I'm the one in the plush recliner with crutches....and yes, I'm a lucky bastard. | |

He was very cool and laid back. We asked him questions about performing live and he wanted feedback from us about the concert the night before in MPLS. We all told him we liked the acoustic set the best...and it was incorporated into the show from then on.
He wanted mostly to talk about religion then..he chilled on his black symbol piano in the atrium of Paisley Park...it was a really cool experience...wish I could see the footage. Kevin Smith said they ran out of tape towards the end! | |

Yes. Once upon a midnight, Tony M. and I were huffing paint fumes in the dumpster behind an Arby's, and Prince dropped by because Tony told him he had some firecrackers and cheery bombs he wanted to give him. Of course, it was just a ploy to get him to listen to one of our many iggnant mixes of Ronnie Talk To Russia. The angry silence we were met with was only slightly less painful than the brutal cloud-guitar beating we recieved. Tony lost several teeth, although we've since replaced them with Chicklets and super-glue. ~ I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR ~

I woudl DIE.....if I looked liek that in Prince's presence.....I'd just call teh mourge on my cell phone and fall dead on teh ground.

They're all probaly dead from embarrasment. I know Prince and his ppl exchanged some hella wisecracks that evening. Prince looked good as always. im sorry but how often do you get klhk and i pointing out the same thing...the girl isnt ugly or anything..she sorta looks like olivia de'avilo..is that her name? the Vacation mom? but she is sporting major sour beer face... Space for sale... | |
