is from like 1945... Including the one YOU came up with, bruh? No. I believe that one could actually work. The reason I say that is because the musicians have all played together before, in various constellations. But then again, they have never played with Prince, so you never know...

"Hmm, let's see...I love to drink beer...but I also like chocolate sauce...and ketchup is pretty good...oh, I know - let's mix'em all together! That'll be really good! Especially if the ketchup is from like 1945... Real, My selection would work and kick major ass in a live concert. I, mindfully, selected some soundfully-skilled musicians. Take a look-see. Peace 'Cuz I'm so - Cool!!!

I know it´s just fantasy, but what surprised me is that almost everyone puts Prince as only a vocalist. It seems that many people still see him as a ´pop singer´ only.
Ok, we all know he isnt considered a better bass player than Pastorius or better guitar player than Benson, for example. But on the other hand, he is not considered better than Sinatra on vocals too. I like his guitar playing a lot now. I think it would be great if he wasn´t only the vocalist. And someone was right...most of these groups would probably sound horrible...hehe

It's all opinion. But I really do have a sound selection of musicians that could really kicks ass...Wow, I forgot about Verdine White. He's not only a top-rated bassist, but a good performer on stage, too.

here's my line up for the most devastating Prince band ever.
Prince Lead Vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass and whatever else instrument he will play. Vernon Reid of Living Colour on Lead guitar. I love Vernon's playing, it's virtuosic and wierd. Steve Vai formerly of the David Lee Roth band, Whitesnake and Frank Zappa on guitar. Imagine a triple solo show off between Vai, Reid and Prince. Man they will leave people baffled. Victor Wooten of Bela Fleck and the flecktones on bass. Nobody can outplay Wooten when it comes to laying down a groove. Chester Thompson of the Phil Collins band and Genesis on Drums. "Wise man said, the stronger you get, the stronger you smell" - Son Goku, Dragonball Z

No keys? What do you mean no keys, Prince is there and with a Guy like Vernon Reid who can play keyboard lines using his synthesizer guitar and MIDI the ground is covered. "Wise man said, the stronger you get, the stronger you smell" - Son Goku, Dragonball Z
