Raspberry Beret and She's Always In My Hair - a pure-bliss single. Released 17 years ago today. Clearly both timeless classics, Prince still regularly performs these.

Thoughts on the songs? The live versions? The single packaging?

great Prince song and my all time favorite...it has a nostalgic feel to it eveyrtime i hear it especially as i was growing up...

as for She's Always In My Hair, the Comp is worth the buy, but if u must keep downloading it, i luckily saved the extended edit from NAPSTER's early days.

I love both of these songs to no end!. I love the Harmonica(that's prince, right?) and the way She's always In My Hair ends with that cataclismic drum beat. Not the same 12", but I also love the Hello 12" in the same way. He has alot more to say on that 12" than the Edit....I'm unique in the respect that I'm not U!

Also if U get a chance check out D'angelo's version on the Scream 2 or 3 soundtrack...Supurb. He works w/ Rahpael Sadique on that track. It's really gritty.
