Seriously though, Prince and Lisa on "A Place In Heaven". I know technically that she has lead vocals on that tune but it works for me I dont understand why people slag off Arms of Orion i think its a really good song. prince lacks the maturity to express himself appropriately in a duet.....he showboats too much..
Why Should I Love You? Nothing Compares 2 U? Arms of Orion? all proof that he is too intimidated to give into a plot of a song and let the character tell its story.... i think the only time he has allowed himself the chance to tell a story within a song while harmonizing is with "Sometimes It Snows In April". I had hopes that he and Ani Difranco's collaboration would be a powerful one but once again he mutes her awesome guitar playing and shoots for the obvious....
