SIGN 'O THE TIMES CLUB REMIX

London 24th April - I was checking som enew vibes and on the racks they had one copy of a white label vinyl double EP with purple cover (old pic of prince in white) all white writing and entitled - Prince - The Remixes.

On the two EP's were remixes of Sexy Dancer, Brave New World, When DOves Cry, I Wann Be Your Lover, HOt Thing and SIGN 'O THE TIMES>

Now all the other mixes I had heard but the remix of SIGN was awesome, Asian (Tabla) remix, what a cool vibe, quite a chilled version, good for lounging, and not too housey...

I enquired if these were available on CD, but no - has anyone heard of them, and where can one get hold of a copy of that Sign remix, I am telling you - it was awesome!

Peace!

I have seen that. It is pure bootleg DJ remixes and Prince had nothing to do with it. As such, I chose to ignore it.

Loosen up kid creole...

I am a real believer that sometimes the best mixes of an artist's songs are not the artist themselves.

Sometimes you need distance....

as far as prince's remixes are concerned, i believe that's the truth. with a couple of very rare exceptions, his officially released remixes have been overwhelmingly awful. meanwhile, i've heard some white label/bootleg remixes of prince that have been just completely amazing.
