Is Prince A-list again? Prince has always had respect even though he maybe dropped down a couple of notches during the whole name change thing.
Or did he? Is Prince still an A-list Celeb? You dont often hear about the Papparazzi following him around do you? Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

he's A-list in some things....(touring, exclusive parties, showing up at awards shows, etc)...B-list in most things (where he eats, personal life, etc) C-list in a few areas ( upcoming albums/sales)
after a few years of being persona non grata in the music industry, he probably had more tv/magazine appearances in 2004 than 1993-2003 combined, with the exception of the moderate "Emancipation" splash. He probably isn't really doing anything to make the paparazzi stake out his home or follow him around (and probably likes it that way too) you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

Just a question, does it matter? He had his 'poplife' and chose another life for himself.
I do not mind NOT seeing him in the national enquirer etc. I love the pics at premiere parties, weird enough, but that's where my fascination stops. I used to love the style changes he went through, esp around 1985/1989 and those pics I still collect. Esp Sign Of The Times material, as I think his style was SO kinck-ass. These days I just smile when I see pics of him, being happy with his wife, or at a concert.

No i dont suppose it does matter. I was just musing over it , do you think a restaruant would cancel someone else's reservation to let Prince eat? I have far too much time at my work Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! Uhmmm. Whenever I have too much time on my hands (like now), I just stroll into this forum and start telling hardcore Prince fans they are crazy. You are not though; you rule! LoL

I always wonder about things like; was Prince all alone in the studio when he recorded America's b-side Girl? Cuz I think he was; he sounds so lonely on that song.

Or, was Madhouse a reaction to Prince digging Miles Davis's Tutu and You're Under Arrest so much?
