Come on now, no need to be embarassed. Who actually likes the album that was essentially his attempt to "Kill off" Prince?

I love this album, doesn't deserve half the dissing it recieves.

i like it, some good tracks on it and some spooky tracks 2 mix it up. Papa and dark r deep and some funny and playful songs.

"If U had the chance 2 see the future would U try?"...Yeah, Come was a pretty cool album. The title track was real funky "Can I fuck ya, baby?"..."Letitgo" was the shit! "Dark" was nice as hell. ANYTHING is STILL better than Chaos & Disorder! LOL!

Come is a great album!

This album is very dear 2 me because it brings back college memories. Maybe its songs aren't his greatest musically, but every time I hear this album, I suddenly feel like I'm in my dorm room just relaxing all over again.

This album has gone through somekind of a reneissance amongst the fanbase. Whereas, "Diamonds & Peals" and "Symbol" were perhaps considered his landmark works of the 90s still maybe 3-5 years ago, a lot of the fans have started now to favour the Come-Gold era over them. And it's quite a valid view: in overall the songs from his early symbol days are better, less dated and more in-your-face than what the early NPG era produced. Mind you, Prince's non-album tracks (outtakes) were quite embarrassing in the very early 90s - he really didn't have more quality material to put on his albums than what actually appeared on them. However, there was tons of at least decent stuff written after he changed his name.

I don't think anyone here has to be ashamed of liking any Prince album.
"Come" contains some amazing music, followed by some very inspired lyrics.

come is one of his best 90s albums 4 sure ,,,letitgo,come,loose all gr8 songs

but can sum1 point out,..PAPA ... an amazing song ..

but is he refrring to himself ??or just generally?? ..

great album from start 2 finish. i love it! race is the shit live as well! also the live version of come from the starlight lounge aftershow 1993 blows me away!

and just adding,,,come is up there with symbol n gold easily but it needs to grow on u ,,i think..

LOVE this album but I can't listen to Solo

The first 3 songs are my favorites. I like that version of the title track way better than the previously more mechanical version.The acoustic version of Space is even better than the album version and Pheromone is one of his most relentless grooves of the 90's.

Dark and Letitgo are favorites too.

My P favourite album of the 90's together with TGE.
On a side note IMO also the last to have two great maxi-singles released(especially "Space").

Best Prince work in the mid 90's hands down.
