Help!!! I'd really like to buy a copy of Lovesexy that has a 9 track sequence. I've read posts on this and other sites saying the it does indeed exist, and that the best bet would be go through amazon.uk, hmv.uk and/or 101cd.com. Has anyone actually bought the 9 track Lovesexy CD from any of these sites? If so, which one? Just so you know, 101cd.com lists at L$4.99, amazon.uk at L$7.99 and hmv.uk at L$10.99. Please help a brotha out... Thanks!

As long as you're buying it NEW and from a UK supplier it should be tracked.

When it was originally released in 1988, all copies were 1 track worldwide. But
when the album became 'mid-price' about 10 years ago it was tracked as 9 seperate
tracks in the UK & Europe, and stayed that way ever since. Unfortunately this
never happened in the US and they're all still tracked as 1 track.

As long as you get a new copy of Lovesexy from a shop in the UK (or Europe) it
will have 9 tracks. The only way of still getting a 1 track version there would
to buy it second hand now.

I've bought it from Amazon.de (the German Amazon). It's tracked and nice to be able to skip to whichever song I want to hear instead of fast forwarding.

Lovesexy (one track) was a pain in the arse with my first cd player.

Say I wanted to listen to I Wish U Heaven...Id have to sit with my finger on fast forward for about 6 minutes but,because of the way this shitty player was designed, if you released the pressure ever so slightly it thought you wanted to skip to the next track...so what the next track when you are half way through a one track cd...thats right the start of track 1

Uk amazon is www.amazon.co.uk. Hmv is www.hmv.co.uk. I got my one there.
One ever so minor flaw in the tracked version is at the start of Alphabet St. theres a fraction of a lead in noise from the end of Eye No so if U need to make a compilation CD with Alphabet St. on it U should use the one off the Hits CD.

You can make your own "tracked" version out of the US CD. Just rip it, edit and split the big audio file and then burn it. That's what I did.

For those who are interested, I just got my tracked copy of "Lovesexy" from www.101cd.com... it only cost me L$7.49 including shipping... It would be very hard to tell the difference... The UPC code is the same (7599-25720-2)... In fact, the tracked version says "Songs are in a continuous sequence" right on the CD... The only difference is on the back CD cover... the tracked CD version says "Manufactured in Germany"... anyway, thanks to all those who helped... this is a great thing to have... now I can listen to "Anna Stesia" whenever I want...
