I just watched the 1999 TMF Extra interview with Prince online(just before Rave came out) and he mentioned that he was doing a comedy/documentary. Obviously this
never saw the light of day, but does anyone know anything about this? What was it about? As a sidenote, I don't understand why he answered "I dunno, is it?" when they asked if he made a cameo in Fargo. Boy likes mystery.

would this documentary be floating around the in the bootleg world?

The docu-comedy was called "Rave Un2 the Year 2000" and it wasn't funny or informative.

o. I've seen that in stores.

I was just kidding It's ok I guess. That documentary hasn't yet shown up...the crystal ball on video. And "Rave In2 the Joy Fantastic" is just a little different from "Un2." No Seques, No "Everday is a Winding Road, No "Strange But True." But it adds "Beautiful Strange" and about 3 of the songs are remixed, oh, and a much nicer booklet.

Alright, so just another proposed plan that never happened.

I forget the name of it, but if you buy one of Kevin Smith's documentary's, you can catch a glimpse of what the Prince documentary would have been.
