Prince and your sexuality?

This may seem weird to some, but I'm honestly curious? A lot of people say that women don't like sex as much as men. I think in actuality many women just aren't sure how to express their sexuality because of the negative attitude our society implies in regards to sexually liberated women. So, ladies, do you think female fans of Prince are more sexually liberated than other women? It could be that your sexuality brought you to him, or his music helped you open up sexually. Any comments?

P.S. I'm not being sexist! I just want to know what you think. Guys, your comments are totally welcome also

I think there's a real problem with sexually dysfunctional women...that needs to be addressed in general...women need to be more open about what works and what doesn't but that takes a good partnership with your mate...which unfortunately lots of folx don't have. I think alot of women are afraid to say what they want.
I def think Prince brings our sexuality to the fore front at times....certainly has the ability to do the trick for me wink

yep. just because i'm a virgin doesn't mean that i can't be sexual-minded. i don't wanna do the do with anyone, but it's still interesting. dunno exactly how to explain this outta my own head, but that's how it is with me. wink

In that case was it your sexuality that drew you to Prince? Or did it at least play a part. The reason I'm asking all this is becasue Prince has def. caused me to redefine my views of sex. Not in all respects, but at least in some.

no, it was his talent alone that got me into 'im...all the sexual stuff took a backseat (no pun intended) to that.

This is understood, but I'm just wondering if women who listen to Prince are, as a rule, more sexual. It would make sense to me because if your really appreciate Prince you have to be influenced by the ideology that permeates his music, sex being a large part of that.

Most of our "sex lives" takes place in our heads, anyway, regardless of whether we're being sexually active or not.

Makes sense to me too. Probably because I could say the exact same thing.

Music has often a great effect on people, but I can't see it in myself. So it wouldn't make me "loosen up" any more. Or if music did, it wouldn't necessarily be Prince's music. There have been some great loves before him. Of course it might has added a lot, in my imagination and daydreams and stuff.
So the answer to this question in short is: "Nah, I dunno..."

Some women are just silly prudes and don't know how to operate thier vagina's! It's fact that smart sophistocated women with high IQ's and fancy degress are usualy more sexually liberated then the average woman and they have more sexual flings cause the average woman is too dumb to even figure out how to orgasm in the shower. lol

sad but true

IMO it's not natural to be 23 and a virgin. I'm gonna buy u a male escort, handsclap.

we were put on earth to be fruitful and multiply, we were not meant to live sexless nor were we meant to wait 23 yrs for sex....that's why most ppl hit puberty at 11,12, or 13.

When man first walked the earth our life span was 35-40yrs and women had to have babies early in life if the human race was to survive. That's a fact! Stoneage days r gone but it's still not natural IMO to wait so long for sex. I'd go insane! When I ovulate I get more horny than usual and I just gotta get some, masturbate or something...

i think the only stuff prince influenced with regards to my sexuality was the fact that there were no wrong answers as long as the people involved were happy, and that sex was something to be celebrated, not to be ashamed of.

of course, this was 'lovesexy' era prince that was doing the influencing... neutral

I would ASK about KINKINESS ACTUALLY. Because PRINCE INSPIRES SOME KINKY DREAMS. I ACTUALLY was THINKING ABOUT PRINCE while EXERCISING I ENVISIONED PRINCE USING FLOUR TO COVER MY BODY On BLACK SATIN SHEETS DRESSED from GRAFFITI BRIDGE"S in THAT TICK TICK BANG and GET THIS NO AIR CONDITIONING..PLUME FEATHERS. So WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THAT ABOUT? IT's NOT HONEY DUST but well I SUPPOSE CLOSE. BUT, I and this COULD ONLy BE PRINCE COVERED ME IN FLOUR I HAD RED LIPSTICK ON and JET BLACK HAIR..KABUKI? Is THIS STILL JAPENESE INSPIRED? OLD STYLE I ENVISION ALSO LIZ TAYLOR and DIANA VREELAND . I SUPPOSE I LOVE NOIR. BLACK AND WHITE. Why WOULD I GET SUCH STRANGE IMAGES? I mean you can Take a BATH In JELLO or MAC AND CHEESE. CAN U IMAGINE SEX in such DIFFERNT WAYS?

Please don't miss my point (ooh I guess we just can't get away from puns in this thread). I'm really just trying to explore a question that's on mind. I feel that if women were raised to be proud of their sexual conquests like men are the world might be a different place, listening to Prince might be persuasive in that respect. I'm married and I'm not out to try to find out how I can get myself some lol lol It's really just a curiosity that occured to me. I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone else thought wink

Have to say it was that way for me too. I'm a musician and when I found out just exactly what Prince had been doin all these years I was like Whoa, this is what I've been lookin for! However, once you're in he can really open your mind to some things. No conventional conservatism allowed here. At least not until the JW conversion.
