He suffers from material, but not exactly technique.


Most of my issues with Tony is that Prince has him doing interludes in the middle of songs that absolutely did not require a rap section in it. Also, the lyrics are just way too silly.

But, given that--if He had started a career on his own, outside of Prince's career, I have no doubt that he would have at least been nominated for grammy.

tony M is a terrible rapper.... and this is coming from someone who lives & breathes hip-hop & Prince..... anyone can rap.... but not anyone can do it well.

oh snap, i just read the grammy part - no disrespect, but Tony M really aint shit. he couldnt win a bingo game even if there was 2 numbers to choose from and he had 2 choices

his rap skills are monotonous and has a gift for just talkin really fast ,with no real structure..
if thats the kind of rap ure looking for ,get in2 black eyed peas,,

i find he has no evident rapping talent and his presence destroys songs 4 me ,,
