Maybe I'm just too much of a "fan"... "fam"... whatever you want to call it, but i think among diehard P fans, there's still some magic to the Owwaaa! I heard it during the NAACP awards when Musicology was one of the albums up for an award and P's name announced. Someone in the crowd let one loose (it was probably J7 from the BumpSquad , just kidding - I don't know that for sure). You knew Prince fans were in the house!

Also, my friend April's doorbell doesn't work and she lives on the 2nd floor. So when me & my buddy Ree-Ree go to see her, all we have to do is let out a hearty "Owwaaa" and she comes a running!

So yeah, for some of us diehards, the magic's still there!

I LOVE hearing Prince scream OWWA! That's the Scream of Passion right there. I didn't realize how cool "Owwa" was till I watched my Uncle's copy of the 85 Grammy's and seeing him do Baby I'm A Star. The beginning when he screams that and EVERYONE reponded. That was sooooo cool to me.

OMG i LOVE the Owa so much! It makes the songs so much better. I wish Prince would do it more often in his songs though. Prince better not ever lose it!

I love it, i do it for my girlfriend and it really turns her on, it is a powerful call and he should really use it more.

My favorite "Owwwa" is on the song "Girls and Boys".
