Wow - there have been some great images posted here, thanks! I had forgotten many of them and yet when I see them now I am reminded of how iconic he has been over the decades.

What came to mind for me, immediately, are these:

The "When Doves Cry" video when he stands up from the bathtub (naked) and the camera "rises" with him and stops just as you hear the singing start.

After much anticipation of a follow-up to "Purple Rain," I tuned-in to see the newest video from an album called "Around the World in a Day." It was for 'Raspberry Beret' and I remember thinking, "Hmm, why is Prince wearing his hair like Liza Minnelli?"

The yellow assless pants... of course, that made their stage debut during 'Gett Off' on national television. (If only others could pull that off!)

And, finally, Prince doing the splits after boogying across the stage and down a pole (in heels no less!) in the '1999' video.

A few of these have probably been mentioned by now, but hopefully - since I didn't post actual pictures - you get the image in your mind from my descriptions. This has been a fun thread!
