european tour anyone Heard on advert on a Irish radio station 98fm advertising the Hit/b sides 3 disc which we all have, dont want to get any ones hopes but this sort of thang is usually followed by a tour date..... | |

I heard it too this morning for the first time. I don't think its the Hits/B-sides stuff though - they called it "Prince - the Ultimate Collection".
Anyone know what it is? Oh, and I'm still hoping for a Euro tour some time this year.....please! [Edited 3/14/05 5:11am] ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

this is the type of thing they always do before a gig is announced. MCD or whoever have probably got 98fm to plug this hits package because they know a date is around the corner, get the ppl thinking of prince and hit them a tour date, classic salesmanship. The fact its a WB album is irrelevant, its the obvious choice to use. How many ppl hear an ad featuring ICPC and immeaditly think its a prince song,,, youll c | |

I bought it this morning as my old copy is shot to shit. Warner Bros have heard that P is about to embark on another world tour so have decided to cash in on the back of it with a 'best of' release of some sort. Its not the first time theyve done it. Didnt the last 'best of' come out as the Hit n Run tour kicked off? Or was it the ONA tour? | |
