CDnow has a feature called "The 10 Essential Songs About Superheroes". Prince's "Batdance" comes in at #4. Here's what they had to say, "Prince recorded an entire album's worth of tunes for director Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film. The six-minute dance mix that ends the disc incorporates parts of the other songs, references to Neal Hefti's theme for the '60s TV show, plus samples of film stars Michael Keaton, Kim Basinger, and, best of all, Jack Nicholson."

"Batman" is one of my favorite Prince albums with "Electric Chair", "The Future", "The Arms of Orion" and "Partyman" being my top picks. I wish the NPGMC would make "The Future Remix" they featured in one of the ahdio shows available as a download.
