Prince, Controversy or ATWIAD? I still need to buy some albums but I can't buy them all at once.
Chaos and Disorder, Batman, Come are also lacking, but I've decided that I will buy Prince, Controversy or ATWIAD first. Which one do you like the most? | |

Knowing a bit about your musical taste from the posts and comments
I've seen from you around here, I think that you'll most likely be most enarmoured with "Around The World In A Day". Even if it was just for "Condition of the Heart" 
A good second choice is probably "Come" since it has some pretty cool songs and is linked by a rather dark theme of sex, lust and very bleak loneliness. I don't know, it just has a rather lonely atmosphere -great album. | |

you will actually love this album with more listens, but be warned your first wont be a a great one, but its the album the grows better with more listens.. | |

First half of "Controversy" is good - second half lets it down.
"Prince" album is patchy, but the last time I listened to it (about nine years ago!) I really enjoyed it. "Around The World in a Day" is excellent - very varied, very hippie-ish in its sound, but nothing like anything he'd done before or since. It's one of my very favourites. |

CHAOS AND DISORDER ...THAT ALBUM REALLY SUCK BIG TIME.
THAT WAS HIS LAST ALBUM FROM WARENER BROTHERS. SO I THINK HE JUST PUT SOMETHING OUT THAT WAS BAD. PRINCE FAN 4 LIFE, SOME PEOPLE--THOSE WHO THINK IT'S EVER THEIR PLACE TO CHANGE SOMEONE--WILL FIND NEW "FAULTS" WHEN OLD ONES GET "FIXED".

I've discovered Prince by going to a NPS-concert (don't remember the exact name of the tour right now). I bought NPS first , then the hits, then Purple Rain, Diamonds and Pearls, For you (and after that many more)
So the chronology has been fucked up from the beginning of my Prince-voyage. | |
