Paul Stanley & Prince?

Did these two influence each other or were they just cut from the same cloth?
Both fly the colour purple, dance, play guitar & sing amazingly, & are dogged by "gay" rumours.I also read a review where they said PS attended a Musicology show.Prince had a song named Kiss. I've never heard either one speak about each other, but you know they are aware of the other. Maybe I just haven't had enough sleep.

I think that both may have found influence in each other. Kiss has been performing since the early/mid 70s, back when Prince was still playing in some local cover bands in Minneapolis. Both Kiss and Prince know how to use theatrics in their shows and both are amazing when it comes to making their audience happy at their shows.

Of the shows I've seen-there are few performers who have a better concert than Kiss or Prince.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

i thought i was the only one who sorta connected the two.Paul always remninded me of prince and vice versa.they are both guys who would have been in constant fights if they hadn't been so good at what they do.2 pretty boys who take even that description to another level because of the androgynous aspects of their features.

When did Paul Stanley start singing and playing guitar amazingly? I must've missed that.

Paul was at a 1987 Prince show--this was first I heard of his interest. But u are a crackhead if u think there's any influence on Prince.
