Does anyone know if there is a good sound quality version of the original "Sex Shooter" by Vanity 6 circulating out there? I have a copy of the song but the sound is terrible and I am wondering if I can find a better sounding version of it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The version I have sounds like it was recorded through the air from an LP playing on a shitty system!

Sex shooter is from Appolonia 6 and
Nasty girls is from Vanity 6

I know Appolonia 6 (3 girls make up for 6 ears) have at least 1 album out but i don't know for sure if the single is at that album ,must be.
I also miss it in my collection.

I have onæy heard the shitty version of the song. I'm not sure that anyone but Prince has a better version.

Incidentially Apollonia 6 recorded and released Manic Monday for the first cassette version of their album.

U should all hurry and buy both the Vanity 6 and the Apollonia 6 albums - their great.

Thank you for this information ,you made me curious. I will check out my local library first ,they rent CD's.

The reason I brought this up was because I knew of the original version sung by Vanity and downloaded it from Limewire. Its 7 minutes long and I like it better than the Appolonia version...not that much different...but the sound quality is not good. I want to put the song on a mix and would prefer to use the Vanity version...but only if I can find a copy with better sound quality. I have also downloaded "Manic Monday" sung by Appolonia 6...its a fun song but the version I found also has pretty bad sound quality.

I have that Vanity 6 version of "Sex Shooter" and the sound quality is horrible.But,I prefer Vanity's version over the released Apollonia version.Vanity just sounds so much more convincing.I also love the ending,where she instructs the people of New York to "count to 8...as soon as I get undressed,y'all clap your hands,okay?".

I have a question.At the end of "Vibrator",we hear the beginning of the song "G-Spot".But on my bootleg,it cuts off suddenly.Is there a version of "G-Spot" by Vanity 6? Has anyone heard it?
