Just a Little Influence from "P"

Could William "Bootsy" Collins.. been inspired by some of "Prince's"guitar riffs ON a song he(Bootsy) recorded in 1982 "take a lickin'and keep on kickin'". From the album "The One Giveth,The Count Taketh Away"... They were label mates at that time also.

disbelief ahhh....No...
Bootsy was at Warners Bros. already before Prince arrive....
In fact, this was his last album at Warners.....
Maybe some Zapp/Roger influence, but not Prince....
But then again, Bootsy played on Zapp's debut LP w/ that guitar riff...
"For You" debut the same year....Hmmmmm
