How long does it take you to get into Prince´s new music? Personally, sometimes I have to listen to a new album for like8 or 9 times, before I start liking it. Are you the same or do you usually like his music on the first listen? "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all." | |

It took me a long time to dig Call My Name, but once I absorbed it, it became one of my favorite songs.  | |

That happens to me a lot. Like when I first heard the Come album, I was like "what?", now it´s one of my favorites. "Purple Rain" was the last Prince album that I liked from the first listen. Everything else that followed it took about 6 or 7 listens. The more recent stuff takes even more listens and some of it has tracks that I will never like. Andy is a four letter word. | |
