But in response to your question, I think Prince and MJ do avoid each other in public. I don't know. Just think about it. How would it have looked if both of them were present at....let's say the 1984 American Music Awards? Just wouldn't have been right. As bad as it sounds, being a huge fan of both of them, I can't even imagine them talking to each other in public. The image would be awkward.

I think it was the '88 Grammys. When Mike finished "Man InThe Mirror" the producers panned to Prince, who seemed reluctant to get out of his seat and join the standing ovation Mike was getting. If I'm not mistaken, this was also the night P lost to U2 (BULLSHIT!!!), so it Prince probrably wasn't in the best of moods.

Oh come on now. If you went to a Michael Jackson concert (without a doubt) you'd see/hear lip synching. I have never NEVER been to a Prince concert where he has mimed lyrics----and I've been to countless Prince shows.

Legend has it that Prince made a pass at Latoya that mike didnt like and hasn't liked him ever since. But Now I think more than ever Prince would avoid Mike.
