As I stated, this, along with Lovesexy Live is much more definite footage of what the real CLASSIC Prince live experience was like. Much better than the SOTT movie which for the most part is not even live (see other thread).

So, who's with me? If I get enough signatures on this thread, I will send it to the necessary authority and asked for it to be released on DVD.

I miss this video so much! It was my most prized possession until I lost it (have no idea where it is or who has it!) , so yeah, I NEED this on DVD!!!

well, it's still easily found on amazon.com...on VHS. i've seen it on eBay in DVD form, but it's really cheesy looking bootleggage.

Prince And The Revolution Live on DVD would be AWESOME!
It's P.R.N. Productions all rights reserved. So it's up to Prince to put it on DVD.

I've seen this concert hundreds of times and payed 80 dollars for it (used) in 1986.

I am listening to the concert burned onto CD right now.... "Possessed" is the track playing. Wearing headphones and hearing the the rich multilayered melodies is so yummy!! (deep sigh)


The epic 20 minute version of "purple rain" still gives me chills of excitement!


King of Prince stuff, please kindly release the concert on DVD! Also release it to the theaters so we can see it on the big screen!!

I've always thought this concert was a little over-long in places - particularly that Baby I'm a Star bit when eveyone and their daughter gets up on stage and dances badly. It's like, every song is an extended version.

Also, it is very dark - there's a whole lot of time I'm looking at my tv screen and I'm just watching blackness.

I want the "Jughead" segment where the gameboyz jump off the stage 4 no apparant reason but to waste time. "aaaahhhhh" "ooooo" etc.....I want that in DVD quality. Imagine that folks?

My favorite video ever and like someone else said above, I had it on Beta too when I first got it.

My favorite part is during Let's Pretend We're Married, when he kicks the stool away and some guy comes out and puts it back under his ass and Prince looks like "What the fuck?!" and kicks the stool away again.
