Madhouse releases

I've just bought Madhouse 8 (LP) (from a second hand record shop) and I noticed that on the back it says "also availible on Cassette and CD"

And i've recently bought 6 (12") as well (from another 2nd hand shop), stating the same.

I didn't realise that the album (8) was releasd on anyother format than LP/12".

Does this make the CD's rare (...very rare?)

Any1 got it?

Was 16 also released on all formats?

The Madhouse CDs (8 and 16) are very rare And command a lot of money when they surface on ebay nod

Beware of fakes though - they seem to be appearing regularly lately

Only fakes I've seen are the boot/pirate "The Complete Madhouse" 4 disc set. I'm not aware of any "Canadian re-issue/import" type cds (a la GoldNigga, Vanity and Appolonia). I could be wrong, though. Can you share some more info on fakes?

They're about as obvious as Michael Jackson in a kindergarden fortunately and are obvious CDR's. They do seem to crop up on ebay with regularity though.

Got to love the Madhouse albums. They are so essentially Prince albums I have them sitting in chronological order in my Prince CD collection, rather than my Associate artist cabinet.

I bought Madhouse 8 on cd at Camelot music before they closed. It was 5.00 dollars.

it had that little hole punched in it for c.d.'s that are on sale or something.I WOULD not buy this c.d. for a lot of money because I've seen 3 or 4 official ones at various official stores for dirt cheap.

I have 16 on Vinyl and Cassette. I bought them when it was released.I've yet to see a c.d. but I know it exist. I think the c.d. for this is a little more rare.
