"Mountains" is quite the jam for me when I put in the Parade CD. It's so funky and positive, you can't help but go with it... Ooh, little darlin' if you're

They didn't get explicit credit for it on the album liner notes. The music is attributed generically to Prince and The Revolution. Behind the scenes, Wendy and Lisa's songwriting contribution on Mountains is acknowledged by way of copyright and registration for publishing at the Library of Congress and ASCAP respectively. The Library of Congress / ASCAP databases identify Wendy and Lisa as at least contributing by way of song writing on: 17 Days America Computer Blue Mountains Power Fantsatic Sometimes It Snows In April and Lisa also on: A Million Miles (I Love You) The above credits were not always immediately registered on the ASCAP database. Wendy and Lisa's contribution by way of additional arrangements were sometimes described on album liner notes. . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

This has always been one of my favorite P songs. maybe cause its a wendy and lisa song.....come to think of it, are the wendy and lisa songs the least played songs out of his catalog in concert? sometimes it snows was a regular on the One Nite Alone tour, and they were pretty involved in that too. Anyone see Wendy and Lisa perform this live in London back in 1990? Prince was in town too with the Nude tour and was apparently backstage but refused to come on. Crowd went insane anyway - great night!
