Is there a VHS/DVD or a BOOK that can tell me everything a PRINCE fan should know about PRINCE and his career? All I know about him is that he is the greatest artist of all time and a lot of people think he's strange.

I really don't even know any reasons why they think he's strange, but anyways... if there is any VHS/DVD or BOOK or somewhere online that could tell me all about PRINCE, could u let me know. Thanx

if i were to loan you anything from my library, i'd give you the book "DMSR: The First Ten Years" - it's a great bio because it focuses on the first decade of P's career, and also because it emphasizes the MUSIC (though there are some juicy tidbits to be had in the book); i'd also loan you michaelangelo matos' "33 1/3rpm: sign 'o' the times", not because it's such a great biography (it isn't a biography at all, really), but because it does such a great job of expressing what it is that all us prince freaks have felt when we've really connected with exceptionally inspired prince music.

If you go to VH1.com and then list the artist as Prince they have the discography along with photos and news updates.
Madhouse.com has books, mags, cd's & dvd's and more variety of things.
And there is always Ebay.
