Goodnight, sweet Prince.

OMG honestly no. I just realised how that sounded when I read this. I was just wondering becuase he has given very sexy preformaces and I wondered if he still preforms that song on the Musicology tour since he is a Jehovah now I wondered if he scrached that song. Honestly I wasn't trying to be funny!

I've seen a great concert clip from the 80s. He is masterful.. all feigning oral sex and grinding and screaming and carrying on. When he finally "comes" at the end and he's lying on the ground he says, "Fade the shit out, I'm throuugh."

One of the best concert segments I've ever seen. Man, I love this guy.
Come here, babe.. yeah...

Well, Krystal, it doesn't look like anyone anwswered your question.
He doesn't perform songs like "Head", "Darling Nikki", Gett Off", "Erotic City" etc. any longer. Now that he's a JW, he won't perform them again.
He was quoted in an interview as saying "When U give freak shows U attract freak audiences. I've pushed the envelope far enough. I've pushed it off the table."
It would be fun to see him perform them again, but the Musicolgy concert was slamming without it. He's an incredible performer. If U ever get the chance to go to one of his concerts, GO.

Yeah the musicology tour was intended to get families and younger kids involved. and it's difficult to do that while performing "head."
Although i agree, i would've loved to see him perform that live as well.

Yes, but he did perform Cream, so I think the way he's handling this is a little uneven.

"cream" is a self admiring song... bout HIM being the cream of the crop... on top of pop music

Cream has nothing to do with sex or ejaculation or what have you...it's a self pep-talk.

This is the genius that is Prince -- a song like Alphabet St, which sounds completely innocent and was on top 40 radio, was about oral sex; a song like Cream, which sounds like it should be "nasty" judging by the title and on first listen, is not about sex at all.

"since he is a Jehovah lol lol lol "
You mean a Jehovah's witness.
But anyway you must be insane if you think does that song nowadays, Cream yes COntroversy yes but 'head" I don't think so.

I gotcha, I actually never thought of it that way. It makes sense though. Especially given the way in which he performs it now, with the whole mirror comment.

However there are still these bits to take into consideration...I mean....

"Look up in the air, it's your guitar" --- erection

"Do your dance [sex] Why should u wait any longer? Take a chance
It could only make u stronger [spunk]"

"It?s your time, U got the horn so why don?t u blow it (go on and blow it)" ---mm hmmm

"Cream. Get on top" --- u tell me

And of course, there's the video which is not about him looking in the mirror. He is steady hittin' it with Diamond and Pearl. I don't really think it's credibile to say it's not about sex at all.

Double entredre, yes. But that's double entendre.
Come here, babe.. yeah...
