(even in that short of a post I had a typo edit) [Edited 1/24/05 6:05am] i thought usher was michael jackson's slut. Well he was, about 15 years ago./obligatoryMJjoke. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Maybe he's getting the same thing out of Usher. Andy is a four letter word.

"Take Me With U" -- Apollonia "Arms of Orion" -- Sheena Easton "Love Song" -- Madonna "So Far So Good" -- Gwen Stefani (can you tell?) What else? These aren't exactly great songs are they? And now he gonna do one with another man? Uh oh. I'd rather see him and Rosie back together singing songs. Now that girl can saaang! wtf is wrong with Take Me With U? at first i thought you were being sarcastic but the others on the list actually are quite cack. well, usher really doesn't have any kind of booty, he's flat as a card board box, but it still doesn't mean he doesn't have a beautiful hole (hehehe).
Go PRINCE! | |

It's o.k. if he just wants to school Usher "how to do it" (great falsetto singing and screaming, a 2 minute guitar solo etc.) and Usher's role is as important for the song as George Clinton's role for "We can funk" (don't get me wrong - I like George and this song, but he just didn't play a significant role in it).
But if the song is a typical Usher song (boooring!), then I will use my computer to make a version of the new Prince album in which the song will be replaced with 4 minutes of dialogues from the "Graffiti Bridge" movie, because this can't be worse than that Usher crap!!! Go PRINCE! Usher has a really nice body and he does have some ass, it's just hard to tell with the baggy clothes and all. Haters travel in packs and they are offended or threatened by klhk, haters express intense hostility toward the subject of hate. Haters are annoyed and roll thier eyes when klhk is paid a compliment. ask yourself, are u a hater?

I'm no Usher fan
- I haven't paid any attention to his songs until now - so I don't quite get the negativity towards him. His voice doesn't seem too bad. I could imagine him doing some of the songs from Musicology - like Illusion, Coma, Pimp & Circumstance or Call My Name. He seems like a good matchup with Prince.

Haven't heard enough of Usher to comment, but I saw him on UK news last night and he was a complete arsehole!! He's got some film coming out over here (prob already had it in the US) which just sounded like it was some extended music video or something.
Anyways, he was blabbing on about how great it is and the bit that really made me laugh was, "and, you know, every artist should have a moment like this in their career, you know, when they do something really monumental! Well, this is my moment, its gonna be great". Hmmm, ok then Monumental? A music video - come on! ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

Btw, I can't believe that Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are responsible for some of that Usher bs. Didn't they listen to their old "teacher"?

Smart move to get himself known amongst young people. They might pick up a Prince album after seeing their hero Usher in a viceoclip and get to know some real music. Although I'm not waiting on a Prince/ Usher duet personally (I fear the outcome hehehe!), it is still a smart move businesswise IMO. As long as it will be the only crappy track on the new Prince album I have no problem with it. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

(Usher sounded like shit singing Georgia on the Ray Charles tribute;if you noticed the audience give EVERYBODY, but one or two people a standing ovasion) Alot of times I can't stand him. I would've rather seen the duet with Michael Jackson and the Bad thing happen instead of Ursher cuz it's the same shit. Usher's an entertainer. Prince is a musician 100%. If Prince wants to collaborate with a younger artist why not Alicia Keys or Musiq or somebody real.
