PrintableWell, I'm not a new fan, but I love Emancipation. Disc 1 is alright, but as many have said, Disc 2 is the shit.....Mayte worship or not, the man was in love and it simply reflected that. I love the entire second disc. Disc 3 is alright, too.....

I disagree with Calhourn Sq.
I'm not a new fan, and I think tracks like Face Down, In This Bed Eye Scream, The Human Body and The Holy River are amongst his best work. But then my opinion counts for less because it's mine and not yours... right? | |

I like a lot of the songs on EMANCIPATION, especially JAM OF THE YEAR, THE HOLY RIVER and SOMEBODY'S SOMEBODY
If PURPLE RAIN is a 10 out of 10, then I would give EMANCIPATION a 5 out of 10...it's not that bad | |
