I would have to say the Warfield in San Francisco. That is where Sheila E Live Romance 1600 was recorded. It is a really intimate setting. Denver, CO Pepsi Center, Coors Ampitheater, Red Rocks... doesn't matter! Why??? Cause I live here and it saves me money. Means I don't have to fly to another city to see him. Lovesexy Funkateer

didnt u see him at the ACC in toronto? all the seats were purple! beautiful sight beautiful sight. I saw him at the Guvernment (Toronto) a few years back with no more than 3000 people. His ACC show was great and about as intimate as you can get in a 20 000 seat arena, but the crowd is not as wild as I've heard they are elsewhere. C U IN THE SUNSHINE

If you've ever been to Holland when the national football(soccer) team plays, the whole country is painted orange. They dance and sing before, during, and after the game. C U IN THE SUNSHINE

Seeing Prince at Massey Hall in Toronto in June of 2002 was the best concert I've ever been to. I had first row centre seats in the first balcony and they were the best seats in the house IMHO. Ok, so I wasn't close enough to touch him, but he was right in front of me and I certainly felt as though I could reach out and touch him. He played for a little over 3 hours and his entire performance just kicked my ass!!

It was fantastic, but I still loved Massey Hall even more.

Hey what abt DuMagness Arena at UofD?
I saw him trhere 4 Hit n Run Nothing spectacular, just saying... Paisley is the absolute best place! The vibe just cant be beat. Even during the 12001 Celebration when we were bored to tears by a third ONA show that week...it was just cool to take in the fact that you're in his house, so enjoy it! As for Toronto, I've seen him at 3 venues (4 including nearby Hamilton) and my favourite was Massey Hall...up close and personal and a classy joint! That Warehouse show was very cool to me cuz I actually got to be up front for the first time, but its all a blur now, although I do listen to the Going North disc once in a while.
Warehouse isnt a great venue though, its a big concrete hall with concrete pillars and alot of bad visual and audio areas. I saw Iggy pop there, and well...it suited his style more than Prince Massey Hall was my fave. Hamilton Place was similar but something about Massey is more...real hakinat said: SammiJ said: didnt u see him at the ACC in toronto? all the seats were purple! beautiful sight beautiful sight. Great show but I got stuck behind a pillar off to the side. I hope Warehouse wasn't a disappointment because you were stuck behind the 6'4" dude with an 8 year old on his shoulder (me). Sorry. ....i agree that Paisley is an excellent spot...seems he has deep feeling 4 the Detroit area(it brought soo much 2 his world)...his vibe determines the show regardless of venue anyway...i'd prefer small venue 2 arena but his LIVE performances allways r exemplary n my eyes regardless of location
...i'd still LOVE 2 C him @ the FOX Theater N St Louis playing that pipe organ (1 of 5 ever made)as it rises up from underneath the floor of the orchestra pit...the fella's @ the STL-FOX have had issues with boyfriend from jump so if it ain't happened by now...
