At the start of each month Media Play puts out a list of artists CD's that are coming out that month. Prince is on this months list. I asked and was told it was due the first tuesday of the month but it got pushed back. They said it will be out and I could reserve a copy. I was also told it might be a live cd/dvd combo. Any info???

I'm looking at their website and don't see any new Prince releases thru February, on either CD or DVD...except for the 2005 Grammy Nominees compilation, of course. I dunno what they were talkign about; if something was coming out that soon I'd think we'd have heard about it already.

Maximum is a line of interview discs put out by The Orchard. This Maximum Prince is not really a release, per se. It's an early 1980s interview with a current image of Prince (from the 2004 NYC Musicology release party in NYC).

This Maximim Prince has been discussed on this site for a few months as well as in other channels like Housequake.Com and TheBumpSquad.Com .

But as we know, if it's official, NPGMC will announce it.
