The scream on the live version of God from Syracuse is pretty mind blowing. I like the one he does after the guitar solo in Sister from Lovesexy 88.

Do me Baby/Something in the Water/The Beautiful Ones/Darling Nikki

have Prince's most famous and effective screams. There are others (such as International Lover), but these four are the essential screamers, especially Beautiful and Nikki -- the screaming in those songs is gutsy -- many would have toned them down, but Prince went for it with gusto!

Something In the Water (Does Not Compute), and Temptation are my favorite screamers that have been released, and non-released wise, I like There's Others Here With Us. There's something about a Prince scream, no matter what song ya like - it's just one of the most primal sounds in music today. Even the scream in The Everalasting Now, where he says, "Ah, ah, ahhhhh, hit me!"

Savior has a good scream to it, too.

I can see it - someone should do a collection of Prince screamin' songs. That would be the one to get.

My vote is for Do Me Baby and Baby I'm a Star. Both songs send cvhills when he screams with such emotion.

"I Like It There" is pure guitar funk with a splash of scream. My fave screaming song without a doubt. Beatiful Ones is second.

I love ALL his screms in every sngle song... but the ones that particularly come to my attention right now, being that a coupld of my favore have already been mentioned(The Beautiful Ones, etc), are:

* The screams at the end The Most Beautiful Girl in the World (My ultimate favorite song!!!)
* that one particular scream in Annastesia (just does things to me:-P ) ... lol
