We hate Prince too much..Why not.... Why not tell me one thing you love about Prince.
Just don't mention (His ass, eyes, hair, clothes, dancing or anthing physical please). For me, it's the fact that he is unriveled--he has no equals. | |

...his sense of humor, and the way it comes out in so many aspects of his work.
For example, yes, there are other great, amazing muscians out there. There are guitarists who are better, technically, than he is. There are even some other performers who are better dancers, showmen/women than he is. But can they make you laugh out loud at their shows with some look, some move, or some joke. Nope! Most of them are way too serious. Yes, make my jaw drop with an awesome guitar solo...but then give me one those looks that makes me laugh. I'm gonna have loads of fun dancing along with you for a couple of hours, wondering where you get all that energy, without making it look like work. Let's have some fun!!!

Gotta love that freakin I don’t give a fu*k attitude. His strong believe in God and himself is so blessing and rewarding. P is always striving for perfection and gives u the best that he has when performing. And what I have learn 2 appreciate and love so dearly about him is his knowledge of being a great song writer, musician, entertainer, and singer all rolled in2 one. He can take a song and put so much sexy energy into it that u feel each word as though he is singing directly 2 u and about u. Personally, I get sick of his Jesus-Has-Returned-In-The-Form-Of-Me! shtick....but I'll always love him for his brilliant musicianship which as you say, is pretty much unrivaled. Apart from the corniness I think he's pretty cool deep down. But around 95-00 he was trying way too hard. | |
