Have you seen this Musicolgy Review

I know its almost the end of the year and the hype/run of musicology is nearing the end but I saw this review which I found interesting, it high lights some good interesting points about Prince and his approach!

http://www.drawerb.com/re...391965.htm

So what do you guys think?

ICP&C AND CINNAMON GIRL are two of the 3 worst songs on the album imo (other being life of the party) so i simply have different tasts than the reviewer, and maintain my belief "musicology' is prince's best album since TGE and possibly even one of his top 5.

Different strokes for different folks....Cinnamon Girl is one of my favorite songs on that album, and I also like A Million Days, If I was the Man in Ur Life, What do U want Me 2 Do ?, I, C, P& Circumstance and Refelctions. I can´t , I really CAN´T listen to On The Couch. ...
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I can see why people would detest ICP&C, but I don't get why Cinnamon Girl divides the fans.

I think it's much better to other recent commercial pop/rock songs like the ones from Rave (Baby Knows and So Far, So Pleased).

I think it is more bullshit from the music media. The same media that takes "Destiny's Child and Usher seriously. So what if he wrote these songs in his sleep. Do you think the stupid music buying public would wet their pants if he put another "Sign of The Times"?
