There has got to be a dvd coming!That print looked so much better!That was great.The badass triumverate of "forever in my life/it",Beautiful night",and "the cross" has to be one of the most smoldering endings to a show that I've ever seen!!"Beatiful Night",in particular,just rips the roof off and scalds everyone inside!!What a powerful and funky performance. The band was so tight that it's almost unfathomable and Prince and the girls were lean ad loose.Fantastic!!

I was reading the info on the screen and was surprised that it was rated pg-13.I remember this being rated r. Maybe I'm wrong. I could go check;I have the brazillian dvd and the official vhs. Then,I was also surprised that it only got 2 stars,but then,I thought about that and they are comparing this to other dramatic films. Also,the vignettes probably don't bode well for casual music listeners. The performances cannot be denied,however.

Is the instrumental version of the title track available anywhere?It plays as credits roll.

Prince was sooo ahead of his time. The band was 1 of his best bands.

Levi playing that bass, Sheila tearing it up seeing Atlanta
and Eric, Miko, Bonnie. This SOTT will or should go down in

I remember seeing this for the first time back in 1998. My girlfriend at the time gave me the VHS as part of my b-day gift and we watched it that night. Damn that show blew my mind.
