If you could own any of P's guitars... ...which one would you want to place on your mantle? For me, it would probably have to be his White Cloud Guitar. Just something about it would make me want to play that in a heartbeat.

Forget the guitars. I'll take the signal processors he used for the sweet distorted sound that was his trademark during the Purple Rain tour and that also cropped up on Crucial and Cool Love. Goodness, that was a sweet sound. | |

That was the guitar he played on the parade tour and it is in the America Video that is on the NPG Music Club This week. Did you know that you could of bought that guitar for 12,000 UK pounds at auction in 2002.
