Oh i love Jack U Off
I actually got up in front of the class in high school (english class) and sang Jack U Off (using the music from the cd) as the background. I guess that's called Kareoke but whatever. People called my fag anyways so i wanted to shoot the shit at their face. And the class actually clapped and cheered and thought nothing of it. And my english teacher was like "james that was a bit..... raunchy for a catholic school."

I miss variation on Dirty Mind, The album is like one whole song.
So I like Controversy more.

I also think the sequencing isn't as good on Controversy as it is on Dirty Mind.
It's trying to follow the same pattern as Dirty Mind too closely, which makes some of the sequencing seem a little forced. Personally, I think it should have been sequenced so that 'Do Me, Baby' is the closing track on side 2, and also put 'Let's Work' at the start of side 2 rather than half way through.

I'd say Dirty Mind is better. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

flows extremely well as a whole. 'Controversy' does have some great songs on it too (I'd say some of them are better than the ones on Dirty Mind), but I don't think it flows half as well as a consistent whole. It also includes 2 real throwaway tracks (Jack U Off & Ronnie Talk To Russia). I also think the sequencing isn't as good on Controversy as it is on Dirty Mind.

Absolutely spot on both times Boris! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

Of course DIRTY MIND is one of my favorite albums. Miguel MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop!
