I voted Prince, for his Musicology tour. He's only at 6% right now, not giving him much of a chance. If you think he deserves it (if you attended the concert, how could you not?); go vote!

I picked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It's currently in the top spot, but it's a close race. If you LOVED this clever, heartwarming movie as much as I did, might wanna go and give a vote.

After much thought, I chose Kate Winslet for her performance in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. This was a hard one, because I kept leaning toward Uma Thurman for her Kill Bill Vol. 2 performance.

5. What's the best TV show of the year?

This was UNFAIR, because Deadwood was better than anything else on TV in 2004, but it appears that EW never heard of DEADWOOD, or something. So I chose The Sopranos. (Where's Ali G?!?)

6. Who's the TV actor of the year?

Again UNFAIR, because so many actors on HBO's DEADWOOD destroyed the contenders, but it appears that EW never heard of DEADWOOD, or something. So I chose James Gandolfini for his excellent work in The Sopranos.

7. Who's the TV actress of the year?

Of course I had two in mind from Deadwood, but neither were nominated. Therefore I chose Jennifer Garner, for Alias. The show hasn't been impressing me, lately, but she's always done a good job. She's WAY OUT in front, so I think she has this one.

8. What's the album of the year?

Prince's Musicology wasn't included, so I went with Green Day's American Idiot. It's not a classic, but it's the best the Green guys have done since Kerplunk, and it's worth multiple listens. Right now it's way behind Usher and Brian Wilson. I prolly woulda voted for "Smile," but I'm so sick of hearing these "Smile" variations, that this was a protest vote. Protest votes are punk rock!

9. Who's the musician of the year?

I rightfully picked Prince. He's in second place. Only 2% behind Usher. PLEASE Prince fans, give the funky man his due! Let's get him up to number 1! Fuck Usher!

10. What's the best DVD of the year?

I went with the Star Wars trilogy. I feel sorta bad, because Freaks and Geeks is like the best show EVER and the DVD collection was incredible. But I've been with SW for decades and it was really cool to see it on DVD, officially, after all these years.

11. What was the celebrity spectacle of the year?

Although Janet Janet's nipple is still winning, I think Michael Moore deserves this for the sheer NERVE he displayed releasing Fahrenheit 9/11. That's what I voted for (it's currently in second place). Took a lot more balls to shock a country than it did to reveal a nip.
