Probably the video of '4 the tears in your eyes'. Only shown once on TV. But maybe loads of people have this.
Not really an obscure song though.

We're talking official, okay, so my picks must be:

Lemon Crush - because of the break with the "do me, baby" with multi-layered Donald Duck voices more weird than any Camille track.

Crystal Ball - because of the eerie atmosphere, the shift in tempo and the cool vocal work by P and the girls, - and the bongos, don't forget the bongos!

Something In The Water Don't Compute - because if you play that for a non-Prince-fan, he wouldn't know what to say ot think!

I Wonder U - because of the drumming and the extremely original use of a full scale orchestra.

Life Can B So Nice - some of the most obsure and psychedelic lyrics in Prince's production. And it's got a mean cowbell, too!!

'Camille' - I know someone who's cousin's friend's brother's girlfiend once saw it on a limited edition bootleg called 'Hen's Teeth'.
it's so rare nobody's even sure if it exists (the title, & some of the lyrics are mentioned in the original 'Grafitti Bridge' screenplay). How rare is that!
Of course I don't have a copy... & I've never heard it, but I'm sure it's the best thing he's ever written (though, it could be a pile of monkey-doo, how would Eye No).

That jam is sickfunky. And it just goes on&on&on&on&on....

1) Go. Just because the rehearsal and demo both have so much potential. It begs to be reworked with the Revolution.

2) Moonbeam Levels. Again, just because it deserved to be on an album, but didn't fit on 1999 with "Free" already on there. Both of these tracks would be fantastic if he reunited with Wendy and Lisa to actually do the "Roadhouse Garden" CD. Alas...probably never happen.
If it breaks when it bends, you better not put it in.

If you're talking UNofficial stuff, it'll probably be a little album's worth of material:

01. The Rebirth Of The Flesh
02. Wonderful Ass
03. Old Friends 4 Sale
04. All My Dreams
05. Others Here With Us
06. Moviestar
07. A Place In Heaven
08. Crucial
09. Can I Play With U?
10. In A Large Room With No Light
11. Eternity
12. Teacher, Teacher
13. Crystal Ball

All of which would b the original versions, not the edited stuff that ended up on CB. Imagine, playing Jam O The Year in BG on Moviestar. AAAAARGH. BLASPHEMY.

Don't U just love making tracklists? smile
