At around 40, you're finally probably closer in years to your death than to your birth. That's gotta make you think. You finally have a sense of how long 40 years is, therefore you can visualise easily the time you have left - except the next 40 years you're gonna get slower and slower so you know you can't do so much as you did in the first 40. So you realise you've got to get it right!
It's like, 40 years of living your life to the full - then suddenly you take up religion and spirituality to try and balance out your earlier debauchery! | |
