Best 90s Prince album? What was the best 90s Prince album? Griffiti Bridge (1990), Diamonds And Pearls (1991) Love Symbol (1992), Come (1994), Gold (1995), Coas & Disorder (1996), Emancipation (1996), Crystal Ball (1998), The Truth (1998), Kamasutra (1998), New Power Soul (1998), The Vault (99) or Rave (99) (The Hits and Girl 6 dont count cus as 90s albums there just the 80s hits with like 2 new songs.) So what was the best 90s album to U? Goodnight, sweet Prince.

i rediscovered prince's 90s material this year, and i have a newfound love for lots of this stuff. but my favorite of it all will always be "come" - i think it's the most experimental album he's ever done. to me, "come" is to prince as "low" is to bowie. cold but full of feeling, alienated but connected, experimental but in some ways very tied in to what music is supposed to be. i love it.

Graffiti Bridge I love almost every song on that album expecially "We can Funk"

"Emancipation". Something for everyone. Except the cover art - that wasn't really for goddamn anyone.

Gold Experience Emancipation But the rest are really good too, just more I connect with on those 3, and The Gold Experience is my fave Prince album. So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?

Come - by far is most consistent '90s record, and absolutely the fonkiest. Good b-sides, too. It's the one I listen to the most.
After that, in terms of what I still listen to, disk III of Emancipation and of course Gold. When the sunlight strikes raindrops in the air, they act as a prism and form a rainbow. The rainbow is a division of white light into many beautiful colors. Regardless of the day, I'm glad you were born.

COME & THE TRUTH for me. Chaos and Disorder was rockin' too.

Choas & Disorder is the best 90s Prince album to me because that album really rocks! He's first real rock album since Purple Rain. It is over-produced but it has great blues-rock songs on it, like: I Like It There, Dinner With Delores, The Same December, Zannalee, Had U. If Prince was not in his war with Warners and this album had real promotion, with videos and singles, this would have been a hit album. If this album were released in the 80s after Purple Rain this would have been a big hit. Lots of people wanted Prince to do a blues-rock album like Purple Rain. Goodnight, sweet Prince.
