New (legal) Prince DVD

New Prince DVD
Some Shops in Germany offer a ‚new’ Prince DVD ,’The Homecoming’
It’s a pressed DVD and published by ‘Neue Medien’. It’s not a biography with interviews, etc. It’s a concert. I asked different shops, and they told me, it’s a LEGAL release.
Maybe the legal case is the same like the brazilian ‘Sign o the times’ DVD, don’t know. I ordered one DVD and keep u inform with more details, when I get the disc... Tracklisting:
1. Controversy
2. Lets work
3. Do me baby
4. Sexuality
5. Lets pretend were married
6. Lisa solo
7. How come u dont call me anymore
8. Lady cab driver
9. Little red corvette
10. Dirty mind
11. International lover
12. 1999

Much as I'd love for this to be an 'official' release, I really doubt it, especially given the Nude tour picture used on the cover of a 1999 tour concert. You'd think a concert video would have a good shot to use on the cover...

If that thing were any more bootleg, they would have put a picture of Stoney Jackson on the cover.

I will recieve the DVD in the next days and I'll compare it with 'the other' DVD. Normally, the laws in germany are very 'tight' concerning publishing unauthorized recordings, don't know, how they managed.. If it's in bad quality, it was very cheap (prices are between 5 and 10 euros..)..and I'm a die hard collector, need the DVD anyway cool

Yeah its bootleg of a very good gig, but as said b4, they could have least put a cover photo from the right ERA!

he's an actor who was on a really cheesy miami-vice wannabe cop show back in the eighties (100 points to whomever remembers the name of the show without googling for it!), and he (or at least his character) dressed like a second-rate prince wannabe...and he was packin' heat! lol

I do remember seeing the pilot of this show, and it was so painfully abvious that this guy was a prince knock off... then again, Hunter was such a painful Clint Eastwood knockoff...;. "It works for me"
