Prince songs that sounds similar 2 each other

Over 26 years, Prince has released outstanding albums.
"Sign "O" The Times, "Diamonds And Pearls, "The Rainbow Children" and "N.E.W.S." sounds so different - U could think, it was not the same artist, who released these albums.
But there are only a few songs, that sounds very similar 2 each other, like:

"One Of Us" and
"Love.. Thy Will Be Done" released by Martika.

Do u know more songs, who sounds like the same one?

-"200 Balloons" and "Batdance" (that's an obvious one)
-"What Do U Want Me 2 Do" and "Dorothy Parker" (have a similar vibe and Linn drum beat)
-"1+1+1 is 3" and "Erotic City" (similar beat and bass line)
-"Purple Music" and "All The Critics Love U In NY" (I'm guessing Purple Music was the forerunner to ATCLUINY)

Theres a vague resemblence between 'Head' and 'Kiss'. Then again the album 'Dirty Mind' was in some way a prototype to his work that followed.

"It" and "When Doves Cry"

"What Do U Want Me 2 Do" and "The Ballad of Dorothy Parker"

"A Million Days/Cinnamon Girl" and "I Could Never Take The Place of Your Man"

The Musicology Album is seriously like the 2004 remake of the Sign 'O' the Times album...

I always felt there are some similarities between "Take Me With U" & "Raspberry Beret";
"The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" & "Betcha By Golly Wow!";
"Illusion, Coma, Pimp & Circumstance" & "Kiss";
"If I Was Your Girlfriend" & "Come On";
"Mad Sex" & "Sexy MF";
"Insatiable" & "Scandalous".
hmmm

I ran a thread like this at least a year or two ago, but funnily I was thinking about this just tonight! 4 some reason, I don't get most of the pairs posted (except for a few), I'll have to listen again.

I actually always put:

ATCLYINY with 17days (the instrumental bit of the chorus)

Lady Cab Driver = Glamorous Life

Manic Monday = 1999 (just the verses, and the midsection of MM reminds me of the midsection of Raspberry Beret)

That's it for starters, but there's way more! OK here's one:

TMBGITW = And God Created Woman (not really the same song, more like an evolution from one to the other, like Scandalous to Insatiable)
"We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

"That's becuase we're soulless auttomatons"

They're both written in 6/8 rhythm, are they not? Another song that comes very close to these two is "Curious Child."

I can't believe no one's mentioned these two yet:

"Daisy Chain" & "Family Name" -- same song, different words, slightly different arrangement
