I agree with Istenszek - not willing to say it's one of the best songs he ever wrote, but I am a big fan of Yo Mista. Patti's voice fits this track perfectly. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

YES!! i just made a thread about this...i have it on this c.d. i made, and i just found it when i was cleaning and i've been blasting the HELL outta that song:
Her father cried when i told him that Cara 2wice got knocked up, "Just like her mama" he said "She shows her body when she wants to show love, she tried that stuff with me and i beat her down, there's no way i could stay, let her stick around CAUZ I TRAAAHHHDD SO HAWD TO RAISE HER RIGHT !! i truly love that song. especially the extended mix. Album is from 1989 Title: be yourself also contains the song " if you asked me to" which Celine Dion covered (i think) 2nd song with Prince is Love '89!
