Goldnigga Shits on D&P!

I just heard GN for the first time (won't tell u how wink ). It's way betta than all u peeps r makin' out. It's no classic. But it's definitely listenable (okay mayb this record company sketch I'm hearing now's a bit lame) but overall it's quite cool. I admit I didn't concentrate too much while I was lsitening, but I reckon that, overall, it's a better disk than D&P.

What y'all say? (and I'm not putting it on Related Artists, coz P's all over it!)
"We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

"That's becuase we're soulless auttomatons"

It's a funky piece of fun. Not to be taken seriously, really. I wouldn't agree on it being better than D&P, tho'. wink

if it were an instrumental album with only some of the more melodic
vocal parts strewn in here and there and NO Tony M rapping, it would
make for one hell of a funky little album.

the way it is, smudged with horrid rapping and such, i think the only
redeeming quality it has left is -once again- the brilliant funky jam
that flows throughout the entire disc.

i love it musically, but just argh, Tony.

ill
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

It's OK... but nowhere near as good as D&P tho.

Oh my. I just remembered this album. I don't think I have listened to it since... 1998 or something. Gotta dust off the tapes, I think they are somewhere. In what format was the original album released? Was it just CD?

And why isn't there a re-issue made available by now? (oh, for the obvious reasons)
