hey my friends..i have a question, what is your favorite scene in "UNDER THE CHERRY MOON" ? And do you think it should be released in color?

my fav scenes r when chris tracy is talkin to mrs. wellington...when him and mary sharon first meet..the WHOLE race track part....and any parts where tricky is actin nutty.

The whole film is just hilarious - best of his films - I was giggling like a girl the whole way thru

Oh, guys U missed the obvious! "The Mary's Mom Bedroom fiasco!" Prince climbs into mother's bedroom thinking it's Mary!

I love the whole movie! The only exception being that long-ass, pointless, 6 minute intro thing.

i STILL think that a very good scene is the "screaming in the car" scene, and after he gets out and goes in the phone booth, and then makes out with her..fun fun fun

Id like to see it in colour but I dont think it should replace the balck and white version

Fav scene..hmmm....perhaps the bit after he does it to Marys mom and they are running away...seems natural and improvised to me. But the stick in my head moment is the Honestman poem to Venus de milo. When the crystal ball box set came out and Honest man was on it I was praying it was teh same....sadly not

The obvious scene where they take the ladder to Mary's house.
I rewind it everytime Chris says, "What'd you expect me to do? Go in a room fulla lights on?"

I agree that I'd like to see it once in color, if for no other reason than to check out some of the pans of the city and all. Always liked that bit of cinematography -- like the piano perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. Wonder how much it cost just to set up and get that shot? But keep in the black and white. It really sets the mood for the movie.

Favorite scenes:

The famous booty shot as he's writing the note about "goodness will guide us" at the beginning of the movie. The camera pans up and

When he follows Mary to the little side garden and catches the tarot cards, then meets her mom with Mrs. Wellington.

His piano playing and the faces he makes to Isaac's voicemail message at Mrs. Wellington's house.

The whole part when Mary is talking on the phone to Jonathan. That growl as he crawls across the couch toward her. And the best line: "PITS!!!!"

When he's on the telephone with Mary eating the piece of toast. I love it when he say's sex! To cute.

OMG I just watch that movie for the 1st time EVA a few weeks ago (i know,i know!). It's a cracker! I love it. There are 2 many 'best bits'...

* When he argues with Mary the 1st time and spits and does that shudder!
* The bats (reminds me of the aliens in Life of Brain - totally out of the blue)
* The shut up section!
* Tricky asking for forgivness and making kissing noises
etc etc etc

UTCM is my favorite Prince movie. I wouldn't mind seeing it in color, but i love the b&w. Everyone so far has mentioned my favorite parts!

o man yall 4got the part just as christopher walkin out her house when he says "heres yo future...framed in gold!" and he walks a way and it kinda zooms in and out real fast and it shows the curve of his bum in those low riders..mmm 2 sexy!

OMG!!! I LOOOOVE "Under the cherry moon"!!! Its a GREAT movie! I really loove the romantic scenes!! Like when They're in the phonebooth makin out:

"You want?"
"Yes."
"NO! When I want...You rich girls want everything."
"No, I want more."

& the part where they had a fight, & the go down that alley! & I like the way prince is looking & acting when they're driving:

"I thought you wanted to talk"
"I guess maybe I just wanted to look at you"
"Why don;t I give you a photograph?"
"I want MORE!!!"

& then when they get parked in that alley! 4 sum reason I love when he I love U! I just melt inside!! It's just the way he say's it:

I love those parts!!!
