Cheverlet Commercial DiD prince actually endorse Chevorlet by letting them use the footage of the sign of the times movie with him performing Little red Corvette?
Or Was it Warner Bro.? And If so, how does that work? WB can give away his stuff like that with him saying no or yes? I didn't mind the commericial, but it was for that ugly convertible pick-up truck and NOT the corvette. That made no sense to me at all.

I think I had a very small part in this.
I used to help EDS support GM pc systems. Earlier in year when the LRC commercial came out, I helped a gal in advertising. She was working on the new Summer promotions, and I got to see a lot of ads that didn't hit the street yet. I advised her that it would be a great ad if they could get permission to use Little Red Corvette and she said "wow, that's a great idea!" Fast forward, and you have Prince asking the audience what they'd think if he let GM use LRC in a comercial, then you have the commercials coming shortly thereafter. Go figure. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I think 'Chevrolet' was just trying to say that their automobiles are popular and special.

no ones blaming chevorlet. I'm not blaming anyone. I was really curious how it happened. If he endorsed it or not. I've seen a lot movies with his music in it, so i wonder how they get permission. Is it through WB or Prince.

A. SOTT movie was not a WB production.
B. They got permission from Prince.
