and you have to be insane if you didn't like that blazzing guitar riff on
IM yours!

FOR YOU is most likely to be one of prince´s absolutely best albums.
the pure and organic soundquality, both in instrumentation and vocals, something that many latter albums present less of.
over all it is a classic that will sound good in a hundred years from now.
the one thing about it is it is not at all prententious. some of his later work might be?

i love this album, a lot more than i do "prince" or even "controversy".

he only bettered it with "dirty mind" and then the rest after that of course.

i know people will vehemently disagree, but it's a unique, cute, little album that has a lot more personality than his next two efforts.
