The 1996 Oprah interview when he said recent test study showed that there were two people living inside him,or some silly-ass shit like that.

I didn't think that was so much creepy as, well, thought-provoking. The jury's still out as to whether Multiple Personality Disorder even exists in the first place, but the more I get into Prince, the more it seems a possibility that he's had, if not an actual mental illness, periods of mental instability. He has mentioned doctors (psychiatrists/therapists) a few times....

Note my post above.

Prince is either saying things like that to get attention (people have faked mental illness for attention. It's not unheard of.) or he genuinely has some kind of mental imbalance or disorder. Considering who we're talking about, it really could be either one. Though he has mentioned doctors in interviews and lyrics, so....shrug

Ok. Did anyone ever see a tribute 2 James Brown? Both Prince and Michael Jackson performed. Anyway, Prince gets on stage and I dont know what the hell he was doing but I really think that he was on something. He first walks to the stage with his body guard. Actually I should say on his body guard because he came in on piggy back. Then he is on stage and he just seems really weird I mean even for Prince. Then after he does whatever he is trying to do on stage, he walks off the satge or actually falls off the stage into the crowd. That was creepy eek

-----
Good lord this is not a tribute to James Brown. It is James Brown concert from 1983. It looks like Prince was called on to the stage to perform by James. It is obvious that he has been sitting in the audience drinking or using something. He is in no shape to be on the stage and someone has caught this on tape and people on this board keep making this into a big deal.

Celeberity is Drunk in public or high on something = not a big deal.

THe creepiest Prince momment for me was when Prince was promoting Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic on TLC with Carson Daily. Carson gave him a compliment, and Prince said (in a very nasty tone), "what? What is that supposed ot me?" (I may not be getting the exact wording correct)
Carson then goes on to explain that that in an age of disposable music Prince's music stands the test of time--that the music we here today is disposable. Prince then goes on to say "I guess you wouldn've have anything to do with that?"

That shit bugged me out.

BUt thankfully Carson came back with a quick response saying, it's like a bartender. He may not enjoy some of the drinks that he mixes, but it's his job to mix them and serve them to you.

Prince then replies rather weekly "o.k." or something like that. But it made him look pompus and downright stupid.

Absolutely creepy

prince did that because he understands that carson daley is one of the biggest
ass-kissing,brown-nosing,corrupt,teenybop cheerleaders in the world.
prince understands that a guy like carson daley couldn't hold his jock-strap,let alone comment on his music.i loved when prince treated carson daley like a dic-on his own show!!!reminded me of the rude boy day's...

I loved that moment. Carson's look on his face was priceless. lol

I totally understand where Prince was coming from on this one.
Carson thought he'd give Prince a compliment by telling him that "in an age of disposable music" his tends to stay around. Since the majority videos of that Carson seems to introduce are from artists that come and go, Prince was right to ask him "you don't promote any of that disposable music, do you?"
1.) You're not an artist. You have no right to say someone else's art is disposable.
2.) Don't suck up to me by insulting the very machine that you promote on a daily basis.
When you hear Carson's explanation of that day, you can tell that he still doesn't get it.

At the 1995/96? BPI awards in London when he accepted an award and he looked like a test tube full of piss his face was so yellow and wearing a gold/yellow outfit and sunglasses.

Then he said "On stage perfectly free....on record....slaaave", as his voice trailed off and an inane grin came over his face.

Creepy and weird, I got over it pretty quickly though.
