I vote Prince for the old-man style "pimp" voice, but Morris for the younger "player" pimp. Prince just has a little more comedy and style to it. I guess he originated it, after all.

Also, Prince for quality, Morris for quantity. I love Morris, too. Especially on Pandemonium, Morris' tour-de-force in my opinion.

It depends. I like Prince's voice in "Cloreen Bacon Skin" and Morris' voice on "Tricky" equally as well. There's another version of "Irresistable Bitch" I have where Prince is using that voice. I like the music better than the original, it is much more funky, but Prince's voice sounds horrible on the song.

I think, as a whole, Morris is much better with that voice, especially with speaking parts in movies. It sounds much more natural coming from Morris. When Prince used that voice in "Under The Cherry Moon" on the whole "wrecka stow" bit, it sounded fake and rediculous. It sounded like he was trying to immitate Morris.

When Sheila E. used that voice in "Krush Groove", it sounded totally rediculous.

I'd go with Morris. because I think he's a natural at it.

I think Morris' pimp voice is more natural and effortless. Prince can mimic so many voices to me it's just mimicry with him, and Morris reminds me of a stone-cold natural pimp anyways!!!

On Cloreen, its P, on Tricky, its P (apart from the non pimp intro).

Morris definitely has more juice going on in the the speaking voice department.

Prince has loads of character, the quality is definitely there, I agree.

Morris has that thing to his voice that's just hilarious-he *is* that young player, where with Prince it's more of a role.

I'd say Prince for role playing, Morris for becoming one with the pimp voice.
