IYO: Princes best concert?

I always thought Lovesexy was. The 2 VHS set. Hard to find now, they should re-release that on DVD.
I like his style, great set list, the bands energy and dynamics and his guitar playing.

Also I saw birthday concert on VHS from 86 which was really good but I dont know much about it. Anyone know about this?

Difficult to choose. Of the concerts I've personally seen The Hippodrome aftershow in 98 was my favorite, then the two Manchester ONA gigs, then Diamonds and Pearls in 92.

Of the ones I've heard or seen on bootlegs it would be the Small Club gig '88, The New Years Eve Paisley Park show '87, New Morning Club 87, First Avenue August 83, and I'm currently grooving to Club Vega Copenhagen 2002. There are loads of classic gigs that he's played. The boots are probably whats kept me being a hardcore fan! nod
if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron

That's a hard choice between the "Dirty Mind" tour and the "1999" tour.

In "Dirty Mind", I love when Prince performs "Head" and strokes and licks the guitar.

In "1999", I love when Prince performs "International Lover" and climbs into the bathtub.

Hard choice. I guess I would have to go with "1999" because of not only the show, but the opening acts, The Time and Vanity 6.
Andy is a four letter word.
